ECOLiner cage insert fits into a standard 65 or 75 square inch mouse plastic cage. The bedding and mice actually live within the liner. When it comes time for changeout, you simply remove the liner with the used bedding in it from the plastic cage and replace it with a fresh liner into the same plastic cage. You continue to use the plastic cage and do not have to send the cage to cage wash for cleaning and sterilization.

The ECOLiner cage insert costs a fraction of what it costs to wash and autoclave a standard polysulfone or other plastic rodent cage thus saving you money in utilities and labor costs. Extending the time between washing and autoclaving your plastic caging increases the capacity of your cage wash area and may enable you to reallocate labor within your vivarium.

ECOLiner cage insert is made from PET-E, a fully recyclable material. It’s the same material used to make water and soda bottles. ECOLiner cage insert is all PET so there are not other materials that need to be separated from it. That’s a great advantage when talking with recyclers. Having used PET liners recycled to make other products is great for the environment and to all of us.

ECOLiner cage insert ship to you already Irradiated!
ECOLiner cage inserts are packaged in quantities of 100. There are four (4) stacks of 25 liners per carton. Each stack is completely sealed in a seamed heat sealed poly bag to prevent any air from reaching the liners. The four stacks are then placed in a large poly bag. The whole box is then irradiated
.
Each 25 pack bag has a special radiation sticker on it. When the ECOLiner cage inserts are properly irradiated, the sticker turns a magenta color. This is your assurance that the liners inside are ready to go into your plastic cages.
The shipper carton for 100 mouse ECOLiner cage insert measures 25.25”L x 18.25”W x 12.5”H. Easy to store. Easy to transport to your barrier.
Stack of 25 ECOLiner cage insert is < 11” high. Stack easily fits within your hood.
ECOLiner cage inserts may also save you time and labor during changeouts. A stack of 25 irradiated liners is less than 11” tall and can fit on the cage change station work surface. Instead of having to continually turn and/or move to retrieve a clean plastic cage, your technician can simply stay in position and reach for the next liner on the stack. Saving motion and time.
